About Your Hearing Instrument Specialist

Linda Bailey received her Bachelors of Science degree from the State University of New York, working for the first 14 years of her career as a clinical medical technologist in local hospital laboratories. Linda established Better Hearing in November 1987. At first, it was a way to provide for her family, but quickly became a passion to help improve our patient’s quality of life by improving their hearing ability. “The first time you see tears shed because a patient can hear their loved ones is very powerful. Ever since, I have had an overwhelming desire to help more people and do it better every time” Linda earned the title of Audioprosthologist from The International Institute for Hearing Instrument Studies approved by the American Council on Education, as well as being a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. Linda continues her thirst for knowledge with yearly Continuing Education courses to keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and science of hearing aids. She is married to Kevin, between them they had four children and now have seven grandchildren and many fur babies
