About Your Audiologist
Lisa Macari, is your chief Audiologist and founder of the Hearing Wellness Centre. She is responsible for all of your audiologic procedures, hearing healthcare and business management. Lisa earned her Masters of Science in Audiology from Wayne State University in 1999, following 5 years of clinical experience her ambition to provide you with exceptional hearing healthcare led her to broaden her knowledge and skills, and she completed her Doctorate degree in Audiology in 2006. Lisa is a hearing aid user herself and shares your concerns with hearing loss. Through research and personal experiences, Lisa has become dedicated to exploring how untreated hearing loss may contribute to cognitive decline, and how early intervention can improve both hearing and memory outcomes. Lisa is passionate about advancing awareness and solutions to improve quality of life for individuals experiencing both hearing and memory challenges. Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys her spiritual life at church, spending time with family and friends on patios, or staying active at the gym with her fitness-focused lifestyle.
